Fati lives with her parents and is the second oldest of 4 siblings. Born and raised in Dori, Burkina Faso, Fati’s father makes his living as a small farmer, selling excess produce such tomatoes, corn, and peppers in a local market once a week, generating approximately $65 a month in a good season. Fati’s mother is a homemaker and takes care of her four children. With an income of less than $800 a year, the family struggles on a regular basis. The family provides food only twice a day and access to education is nonexistence. In addition, Fati’s family only has minimal access to clean water which comes from a shallow well. There is also no sufficient sanitary facility, which as adds to the poor conditions and probable diseases they face. With your support and sponsorship Fati will have access to basic education, food, nutrition, clean water, resulting in her overall better health and happiness.
